Bram van der Kroft
MCSC Impact Fellow
Bram van der Kroft has performed research in the field of sustainable finance since 2019. He holds a PhD in finance from Open University, Netherlands. Bram uses quantitative research methods to understand and explore how and why investors invest responsibly.
As an Impact Fellow, Bram researches sustainable finance and investors' preferences to invest sustainably at the MCSC. He is also a member of the MIT Sloan Aggregate Confusion research project under MCSC Faculty Steering Committee member Professor Roberto Rigobon and Professor Siqi Zheng.
Bram has published an article in the peer-reviewed journal Banking & Finance. Further, he has written for various newspapers, and his work has been covered by the news, radio, and podcasts. As part of the MCSC finance pathway, Bram will strive to understand and better steer how investors can best leverage their funds to promote the transition to a more green and equitable economy.
